What exactly is this Volunteering Opportunity?


Our friends in the hills are working towards creating a co-living community, backpacker's hostel and a cafe for the travellers, wanderers and artists in the peaceful village of Jibhi in the Himalayas. This passionate bunch of people behind this project is looking for conscious and motivated people to join this endeavor as volunteers.

As a volunteer the tasks will be majorly focused towards helping renovating an old Himalayan house and turn it into vibrant living spaces and fun community centre. 

Who will enjoy this opportunity?


This opportunity is suitable for:

  • Anyone with experience/knowledge in sustainable building practices
  • Artists, designers, permaculture enthusiasts, online media experts and more
  • Anyone who can positively  contribute towards building a community space

Who are we looking for?


If you think you will be useful for this project, we are looking for you. We are open to accept you if you are any sort of artist, interior designer, decorator, architect, web designer, property manager, marketing campaigner, social media manager, chef, raw vegan chef, performer, permaculture specialist, horticulturist, landscape designer, mural artist, sustainable building practitioner or more. You get the drift.

Other Important things to know

 

  • Need to commit for 1 week MINIMUM (This is not your weekend vacation)
  • Jio and Airtel networks work fine in this area
  • Wifi will be available soon
  • You need to take care of your travel expenses to the project site at Jibhi
